Augga and Bruce Hawkins, studio owners

Miss Augga left her village in China as a young child to train and perform with the National Chinese Ballet Company. She ultimately achieved the honor of lead dancer for the Company and performed for dignitaries and heads of state from around the world. After moving to the United States, Augga taught gymnastics and dance, earning herself acclaim and praise for her technique and choreography. She opened her own studio in 2005. Her passion for dance and love of teaching has led the studio to a top-100 FDC National ranking, as well as a top-5 placement for winning studios in Washington state!

As a teenager, Miss Libby was a nationally ranked rhythmic gymnast before turning her artistry and passion to dance. She brings a powerful combination of flexibility, tumbling, grace and technique to her teaching. Her lyrical and little ribbons teams placed 4th and 1st overall, respectively, at 2010 Spotlight Nationals. And the kids adore her! Try one class with Miss Libby, and it's easy to see why!

Ms. Mija began her ballet training in Sendai, Japan at the age of six. After moving to Washington she continued her studies at Northwest Ballet Academy and now instructs the Intermediate and Advanced divisions.  She has earned acclaim for her various dramatic roles including title roles in Cinderella, Giselle, Firebird, and Ursula in The Little Mermaid.  She has also attended prestigious summer intensives at American Ballet Theater and Kirov Academy and has placed in the Senior Division at the Open Ballet Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Ms. Mo is the perfect introduction to dance for your little one. She teaches pre-school and kinder-combo classes with smiles and love. Children adore her! She is also an accomplished dancer, choreographing competitive jazz this year. And if tap is your passion, she is your teacher!
